Jostens Ring Enhancer Limited Warranty

General Information
Jostens Ring Enhancers are only compatible with Jostens class rings. To see if your class ring was created by Jostens, check the inside for one of our company trademarks. If you have any questions about fit, sizing or who made your class ring, please contact our Customer Care Team at 1.800.854.7464 (USA) / 1.800.563.7603 (Canada).

Care Guide:
To preserve the beauty and luster of your jewelry, wash in a mild detergent in lukewarm water and rinse. Then, dry with a soft, clean cloth. Do not use any type of brush, sharp instrument or rough cloth for cleaning.

To protect your jewelry from permanent damage, avoid any contact with mercury. The effect of mercury and harsh acids on silver and gold is severe and permanent. Be sure to remove your jewelry before coming into contact with such harmful agents.

To safeguard against damage, and personal injury, always remove your jewelry before engaging in sports or in heavy labor. Quality stones and precious metal will not stand abuse.

Ring Enhancer Limited Warranty
Jostens provides the original purchaser of a Jostens Ring Enhancer a one-year warranty from the date of original purchase against defects in materials and workmanship that exist at the date of initial delivery of the Ring Enhancer. Please note that this Ring Enhancer Warranty is different from the Lifetime Limited Warranty that we offer for our class rings. Visit College Warranty page for more information. What This Limited Warranty Covers
Jostens warrants to the original purchaser that Jostens Ring Enhancer is free from defects in materials and workmanship at time of original delivery. This Warranty is extended to the original purchaser only and is not transferable. Because this Warranty relates to defects in materials and workmanship that exist at the time of delivery, you must let us know of such a defect within one year of purchase.

What This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from wear and tear, normal or excessive, including any repairs related to wear and tear.
  • Damage caused in whole or in part by anyone other than Jostens, including but not limited to any work performed on the Ring Enhancer by anyone other than Jostens.

What Jostens Will Do Under This Limited Warranty
Any defect in materials or workmanship that Jostens determines were present at the time of original delivery will be repaired or replaced, at Jostens discretion, at no charge. Jostens reserves the right to substitute at Jostens’ discretion a comparable product in the event the original product is not reasonably available.

Ring Repairs
For ring repair needs, including from normal wear and tear, please contact Jostens. Variable charges will apply.
Please call 1.800.854.7464 (USA) / 1.800.563.7603 (Canada) if your ring requires repairs. The cost for repairs is based on individual situations and the then-current market value of any precious metal or stone in need of replacement.

If your Ring Enhancer does not properly fit around your class ring or is not the right size for your finger, you have a couple of options:

  • If your class ring was made by Jostens, you will need to send in both your class ring and Ring Enhancer to Jostens to be serviced. For details on where and how to send these rings please contact our Customer Care Team (information above).
  • If your class ring was not made by Jostens, please contact our Customer Care Team (information above). While we are unable to work on a class ring that was not made by Jostens, we may be able to make adjustments to the Jostens Ring Enhancer depending on the particular situation.

Legal Information
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY AND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH HEREIN ARE EXCLUSIVE AND EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES PROMISES OR REPRESENTATIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, SHALL EXPIRE (a) ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE, OR (b) UPON TRANSFER OF THE RING ENHANCER BY THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER, WHICHEVER OCCURS FIRST. IN NO EVENT WILL JOSTENS LIABILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE RING ENHANCER. FURTHER, JOSTENS SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER TO PURCHASER OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
